Performing Arts

The City of San Ramon Parks & Community Services Department offers a wide variety of performing classes from music to theatre. The goal of our program is to teach technique in a safe and positive environment. Classes take place all over the City at the following locations: San Ramon Community Center, Dougherty Station Community Center, Alcosta Senior & Community Center, and the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center.

John Waller

John Waller plays drum set, percussion, guitar, and other melodic instruments. He has been in over 100 bands playing Jazz, Rock and world music styles. He studied Tabla at the Ali Akbar School and has played in groups with members of the Nigerian All Stars, Fela Kuti and many Bay Area artists and musicians, John has been teaching Guitar, Drumming and Ukulele in San Ramon.
