Multicultural Macarons

The cultures represented in this cooking demonstration of macarons are French, American, Chinese, Canadian, and Indian. Amanda and Aditi's demonstration shows how French cuisine is incorporated into American society and how it can also reflect our individual cultures. They will be making French macarons with ingredients significant to each of our heritages. Just as America is a blend of backgrounds, they aim to integrate their unique cultures into this very popular French dessert!

River of Love

Presented by, Serenadin' Strummers
"River of Love" is a song celebrating the magic of love, and we sing it in English and Spanish. The music states, "Las Guitarras lloraban...", that is "The guitars were crying,"... and singing of Amor, or Love, down in old San Antonio. Serenadin' Strummers play their Ukuleles, while they sing of Amor under the stars, which brings back fond memories.
