Updated Climate Action Plan (CAP) Adopted

On June 10, 2025, the City Council held a public hearing and unanimously voted to adopt Resolution No. 2025-073, which adopts an updated San Ramon Climate Action Plan (CAP) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Thresholds and Guidance Report.
The updated Climate Action Plan and associated documents are effective immediately and replace the 2011 Climate Action Plan.
The updated CAP is the primary implementation strategy of the San Ramon General Plan 2040 to establish a long-term Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction strategy consistent with State GHG reduction targets for the years 2030 and 2045.

International Day of Yoga

Join HSS San Ramon and the City of San Ramon in celebrating International Day of Yoga on Saturday, June 21 at Memorial Park. The Yoga for Harmony & Peace event will be held from 8–10 a.m. and will provide a free introduction to yoga, practices & meditation. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and a mindful presence.
Camp Central with Extended Care
AM Extended Care: 8–9 a.m.
Noon/Lunch Extended Care: noon–1 p.m.
PM Extended Care: 4–5:30 p.m.

Camp Central is a flexible full- or half-day summer program that provides fun, educational and active experiences for children all summer long. Each week you choose a morning and/or afternoon specialty camp as well as the extended care options that you need. Camp Central offers hundreds of camps to choose from including Visual and Performing Arts, Sports, and Enrichment.

Run San Ramon features5Kand10Kevents and theFastest Mile. Get a healthy start to your 4th of July with this Independence Day classic. Enjoy the paved and looped course through San Ramon. The Run San Ramon 5K, 10K, and Fastest Mile will be a chip-timed race.
All participants will receive a short-sleeve commemorative shirt, bib, and a participation medal.

Input Requested: San Ramon Trails Master Plan
Survey Open through July 15, 2025

The City of San Ramon has launched a planning process for its new Trails Master Plan and is seeking input from the San Ramon community!
A public survey on trail use, along with potential improvements, is open through July 15.
Feedback from the public will be used in developing recommendations later this summer.
The purpose of this Trails Master Plan is to identify and prioritize connections to enhance and complete the existing trail system, as well as explore opportunities as the needs of the community grow. This plan will help to guide San Ramon’s trail system with best management practices and a vision for the future.
Project goals include:
- Supporting family-friendly recreation opportunities
- Creating a long-term vision for San Ramon’s trail system
- Improving upon existing and future trail conditions
The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and will help shape the future of San Ramon's trails.
