“Let’s go fly a kite!” at the San Ramon Art & Wind Festival, the BEST festival in the East Bay!
The 36th annual Art & Wind Festival features fine arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment stages, puppet shows, professional choreographed kite flying demonstrations, festival food courts, family amusement zones, a helicopter landing, sensory zone, free kite-making workshop and much more!
Featured artwork titled "San Ramon Today" by local artist Paula Kim highlights the bike, family, and pet-friendly atmosphere of this FREE outdoor event.

The Discover San Ramon Stage will feature a diverse lineup of music on both days. Grab some food, bring a lawn chair and blanket, and enjoy the amazing music on the grassy field adjacent to the tennis courts.

Memorial Day Program and Field of Flags
Monday, May 26 at 9 a.m.
San Ramon Memorial Park
All Ages; FREE

Join the City of San Ramon as we honor fallen service members on Memorial Day at Memorial Park. The Memorial Program includes live patriotic music, speeches from local officials and veterans' groups, and acknowledgement of fallen service members and veterans in attendance.
A Commemorative Field of Flags will be located at San Ramon Memorial Park (5001 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon CA, 94583) on the lawn during the program. Attached to each flag will be a tag with the service member's information you provide. You may complete a flag on-site at the Memorial Day Program starting at 8:30 am; or complete the Flag Request Form below to have a flag placed by our staff members.

Memorial Day Recreation Swim

FY26 Budget at City Council Meeting

The City of San Ramon's budget process is nearly complete.
For the last several months, the City has been developing the operating budget for Fiscal Year 2025/26 (FY26), which begins on July 1, 2025 and ends on June 30, 2026.
The final step of the Budget Process will take place as part of the regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. at San Ramon City Hall (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon CA 94583).
The May 27 Proposed Budget Presentation will incorporate any requested changes provided by the City Council at the May 13 meeting, and will recommend adoption of the Fiscal Year 2025/26 Proposed Budget by resolution.
This meeting is open to the public and will include time for public comment.
The agenda with full details will be posted 72 hours ahead of the meeting at sanramon.ca.gov/meeting.
The meeting will also be streamed live on the City's YouTube channel, and a recording will be available to watch afterward.

The Orchards: Public Meetings Underway
Next Architectural Review Board Meeting: Thursday, June 5 at 2 p.m.

On November 21, 2024, Sunset Development Company submitted formal applications for The Orchards development project located at 6001 Bollinger Canyon Road (formerly the Chevron Corporation Office Park). The applications were deemed complete on March 26, 2025.
The Project is currently being analyzed in relation to local and state standards including the General Plan, Zoning Ordinance, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), etc.
The first public meetings to review the formal applications took place at the Architectural Review Board Meetings on May 1 & May 8.
The next public meeting will take place at the Architectural Review Board Meeting on Thursday, June 5 at 2 p.m. (City Hall Training Room, 7000 Bollinger Canyon Road).
Future public meetings with the Planning Commission and City Council will be scheduled around late summer 2025.

Construction Update: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing

Work continues on the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road. Please see below for anticipated upcoming work and impacts to traffic flow.
Work Recently Completed Through 5/22/25:
- Paving on Bollinger Canyon Road Market Place through BR1E
- Handrail / mesh installation
- Benches
Work Anticipated Through 5/28/25 (long duration tasks):
- Continue irrigation, planting and mulch
- Continue electrical work for lighting - watch for lane closures
- Decomposed granite installation
- Punch list items
The Overcrossing will open in Summer 2025.
