The City of San Ramon's Commemorative Program offers a meaningful way to honor a person, pet, or special occasion with a lasting memorial at a San Ramon park site. In partnership with the Public Works Department, the Parks & Community Services Department provides two memorial options for patrons.

Donation fees cover the cost of purchase, installation, and maintenance for 10 years. All requests — including plaque verbiage — require City Staff approval before a donation can be finalized.

Living Legacy — Tree or bench

Dedicate a memorial plaque to a pre-existing tree or bench at a San Ramon park site. All requested locations require City Staff approval.

Memorial tree plaques are available at Memorial Park only.

New memorial bench

Install a new memorial bench at a City park site. City Staff approval is required. A plaque with your chosen verbiage is included with the donation rate.

Available at City park sites throughout San Ramon.

Important note

Submitting a donor application is a formal request only — all submissions remain subject to review and may be declined based on the information provided.
