Demonstration Gardens Restoration Project

The Crow Canyon Demonstration Gardens are currently being maintained by the City of San Ramon Parks & Community Services and Public Works Departments with the support of City Light Volunteers.

We ask that park visitors do not plant, pick or garden in the area without City approval.

If you would like to assist as a City Lights Volunteer to help in the restoration the Demonstration Gardens, please visit www.SanRamonVolunteers.com.

Upcoming City Lights Volunteer Opportunities for the Demonstration Gardens

  • These events are open to all ages, however children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.  Tasks may include planting, pruning, applying mulch and general clean up. Bring work gloves and wear closed-toe shoes. Perfect for groups!
  • The project will take 2 hours to complete, depending on the scope of the work, as well as the number of volunteers present.  No supervision of minors will be provided after the conclusion of the event and parents must be available to pick up their children within 15 minutes of being notified that the event is completed.
