Diablo Road will be closed to through traffic from March 23rd to April 13th (weather permitting), which aligns with nearby school spring break schedules. TRAFFIC ALERT: The Alameda County Public Works Agency has several projects along Crow Canyon Road, between East Castro Valley Boulevard and the Alameda County Line (west of Bollinger Canyon Road intersection with Crow Canyon Road).
Projects will be implemented in three phases and will include roadway resurfacing, pavement reconstruction, storm damage repair, and various safety improvements. Please see the Alameda County Public Works Agency webpage for updates and details.

Construction Notice - June 13, 2022
TRAFFIC ALERT: On November 14th, traffic control will be modified to create a new work zone on the south side of Crow Canyon Road, from Alcosta Boulevard to St. George Road. Eastbound traffic will be shifted into the lane adjacent to the median island and westbound traffic will continue to flow adjacent to the north curb.
One lane will remain open in each direction at all times for drivers. A construction speed limit of 30 MPH will continue to be installed and enforced. This configuration will stay in place until the south side work is complete in February 2023.
Bicyclists are advised to use the multi-use path on the north side of Crow Canyon Road from Alcosta Boulevard to St. George Road and yield to pedestrians.
Please use caution when driving through the construction zone.
