Virtually Celebrate the Art & Wind Festival
Kites are one of the main attractions of the Art & Wind Festival every year. The event usually hosts national kite flying champions where they present professional Kite Flying Demonstrations on both days of the Festival. This year we have provided a video to watch, so pull up a chair and enjoy the performance!
The Art & Wind Festivals most popular attraction are the do it yourself kite kits offered for free by the City of San Ramon! We would like to offer you the chance to pick up a kite kit curbside this year at the Alcosta Senior & Community Center. On Friday, May 22 we will be offering kite kits for curbside pick up to the first 300 participants. You can pick up the kite kits at the Alcosta Senior & Community Center (9300 Alcosta Blvd., San Ramon) between 11:00am and 1:30pm. Kite kits are in limited supply, and will be given out on a first come first serve basis, only one kite kit per child and no more than 3 per vehicle. Put together and decorate your kite and then take it outside onto one of the many fields in Central Park and make it fly! Post your completed kites on social media using #artandwindfestival
