Our philosophy is based on the belief that focused training is the best means through which a player can achieve significant and lasting improvement. Through experienced and comprehensive teaching, One on One provides the tools for improvement. We give leadership, expertise, and support to athletes who simply want to become better players.
One on One believes that hard work, attention to detail, and a positive attitude develop habits that serve as the foundation for improvement. While player improvement is our immediate aim, our commitment to overall development, on and off the court, is what makes One on One successful. The ultimate goal of One on One is to develop within athletes the ability to motivate themselves and to teach them how to reach their potential.
One on One boasts a team of enthusiastic, skilled, and well-informed instructors who have been trained extensively to teach young players. All of the instructors recognize the importance of learning the fundamentals at a young age. More importantly, each instructor believes in the merits of dedication, hard work, and positive thinking and is committed to making each of these ideals an integral part of the programs. Rob Skate Academy is owned by Bay Area native Robert Ferguson. Rob pursued his college education at San Francisco State University before venturing out and creating what is said to be one of the greatest upcoming organizations to the community.
Rob’s vision with the continuing economic spiral and the rising costs associated with youth activities is to provide young children and teens with activities and sustainable programming for free or at an affordable price throughout the United States.
He has dedicated the past years of his life to making that a reality, helping those with less fortune to have equal opportunities as others. Rob is one of the few young successful entrepreneurs of our time and sat as board chairman of “Karl’s Causes Non-Profit”. He is known for his outreach towards at risk youth and helping centers such at but not limited to EYFC, REACH, Seneca Center, Youth Upraising Center, Boys & Girls Club etc.

In the summer months continuing to educate our youth through learning on the farm. My Farm Camp is happily offered as well through our City’s program. I host a hands-on farm camp, at Forest Farms in San Ramon, where children can enjoy learning outdoors and in a classroom that is hosted in a real barn. My passion for educating the young learners of our future is something that is truly a blessing for me.
