Winter Wassail
Saturday, January 10
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Crow Canyon Gardens
FREE for All Ages

Wassail 2026

“Wassail” is the modern spelling of the Norse & old English phrase “waes hael” meaning “good health!” Traditionally community members would gather in an orchard to sing, dance, and bless the trees for a bountiful harvest and awaken them from dormancy.

Participate in San Ramon's very own Winter Wassail at Crow Canyon Gardens (114 Park Place, San Ramon CA 94683) on Saturday, January 10!

We will be joined by the San Ramon Community Chorus and Berkeley Morris Dancers. Garden tastings and hot cider sips will be provided, while supplies last.

Street Sweeping Underway
Now through January 30, 2026

Street Sweeping

From now through January 30, 2026, San Ramon streets will be swept weekly (up to 4x/month) to manage the extra fall leaves.

Residential streets are swept between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Your regular sweeping day won’t change, but sweepers may come later than usual.

Help us keep San Ramon clean:

✅ Check the schedule & map on the City’s website

🚗 Avoid parking on the street on your sweep day
🗑 Keep carts off the street
🌳 Trim low-hanging branches. Low-hanging branches can prevent sweepers and garbage trucks from passing safely.
⚠️ Reminder: Do NOT rake or blow leaves from your property into the street —
        it’s considered illegal
dumping and may result in a fine.
🌿 Place all yard waste in your green organics cart. Need a larger cart or extra bags? Contact ACI.

🚛 If a street sweeper isn’t sweeping, it’s probably full of leaves and heading to dump the leaves.
It’ll be back to clean once done!

Questions? Call Contract Sweeping Services at (408) 498-4631.
