Dougherty Station Community Arts Center
All Ages; FREE

Join us on Thursday, August 20 at Dougherty Station Community Arts Center (17011 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA 94582) for Third Thursday Arts & Eats, a new monthly community gathering celebrating creativity, local artists, and great food!
Held on the third Thursday of each month from May through October, this evening event brings together art, food trucks, and community in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Input Requested: San Ramon Athletic Field Assessment
Survey Deadline: Sunday, October 4

Residents, athletes, parents, coaches, sports organizations, park users, and people who live near athletic fields are encouraged to participate in the City of San Ramon Athletic Field Utilization Study. Feedback is welcome from current athletic field users, as well as community members who may not currently participate in organized sports.
The Study will help the City better understand how athletic fields are currently being used, whether existing facilities are meeting community needs, and what opportunities may exist to improve field availability, access, scheduling, allocation, and long-term use.
The survey is open through Sunday, October 4.

Call for Artists: 2027 Gallery Shows
Application Deadline: Sunday, September 27

The City of San Ramon invites artists of all ages and stages of their artistic journey to apply for an exhibit in one the city's five galleries. Artists must meet the minimum required body of work (10 pieces), in order to apply to exhibit. This Call will furnish the City’s galleries with month long exhibits during the 2027 calendar year, with the exception of the San Ramon Library, which hosts exhibits on a bi-monthly schedule. There is no fee to apply, but there is an exhibit fee of $35-55/month if selected.

Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Class

San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District is pleased to offer Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Classes every month in 2026!
What do you personally need in your Emergency Preparedness Kit? Have you wanted to start a kit or create an emergency plan, but have not found the motivation? It's time to find out what YOU need to be ready and respond in a disaster situation.
PEP is designed for individuals and families (ages 10–110) to learn the importance ofpersonal and home disaster preparedness, and how to survive after a major emergency. This class will prepare the individual, their home and their family with the information, supplies and skills needed to be self-sufficient for 7+ days in a disaster.
During this FREE PEP Class, participants will learn:
- What to do before, during and after a major emergency
- Hazard Mitigation and Utility Control
- Personal and Family Emergency Supplies
- Staying Calm Amid Chaos
Upon completion of the program, participants will have the knowledge and resources to create a home emergency plan, build an emergency kit with supplies, and complete basic emergency response tasks in and around their home.
