Held on the third Thursday of each month from May through October, this evening event brings together art, food trucks, and community in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Run San Ramon is celebrating its 40th year!

Get a healthy start to your 4th of July by enjoying the paved, looped 5K/10K course through San Ramon or the out-and-back Fastest Mile.

All participants will receive a collectible short-sleeve shirt, bib, and participation medal with the custom 2026 logo.

Dive-In Moviesare a fun time to hang out at the pool and watch a great movie. Bring your friends and family to the San Ramon Olympic Pool (9900 Broadmoor Drive, San Ramon, CA 94583) on Friday, June 26 and enjoyRecreation Swimstarting at7 p.m. Once the sun starts to go down, you can enjoy Zootopia 2 beginning at 8:30 p.m. while you float in the pool or watch from the deck!

In Zootopia 2, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde return to the ever-evolving animal metropolis to unravel a new, high-stakes mystery that tests interspecies unity, their partnership, and the ideals of justice in a city where progress has made things more complicated, not simpler. Zootopia 2 is rated PG. Runtime: 1 hour, 48 minutes.

If watching from the deck, be sure to remember your chair and blankets.

Summer Recreation Swim hours have started at the San Ramon Olympic Pool (9900 Broadmoor Dr, San Ramon CA 94583) and Dougherty Valley Aquatics Center (10550 Albion Drive, San Ramon, CA 94582) — a perfect activity for families, friends, and sunny afternoon fun! Inner tubes, lifejackets, and locker rooms with showers are available for use during recreation swim.

Registration is open for Summer and Fall Swim Lessons with our new partner, San Ramon Valley Aquatics!

From those very first splashes to mastering strong strokes, swimmers can improve their skills beginning Monday, June 8 through group classes or private lessons at the San Ramon Olympic Pool (9900 Broadmoor Dr, San Ramon CA 94583) and Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center (10550 Albion Road, San Ramon CA 94582).

With a focus on individualized instruction, positive reinforcement, and small class sizes, SRVA is committed to providing high-quality, professional swim instruction for the community.

Olson’s Clayworks is excited to offer Beginning Pottery classes in the Pottery Studio at Dougherty Station Community Arts Center (17011 Bollinger Canyon Rd, San Ramon, CA 94582)!

This ceramics program introduces students to the foundations of pottery through hand-building techniques and wheel throwing in a supportive, beginner-friendly setting.

Participants are encouraged to develop their creativity while connecting with a diverse community that values artistic expression, collaboration, and the joy of making by hand.

Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Class 
Thursday, June 25 (Family PEP - all ages welcome!), 6–9 p.m.
Monday, July 27 (Family PEP - all ages welcome!), 6–9 p.m.
Tuesday, August 25 (Ages 16+), 6–9 p.m.

San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District is pleased to offerPersonal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) Classes every month in 2026!

What do you personally need in your Emergency Preparedness Kit? Have you wanted to start a kit or create an emergency plan, but have not found the motivation? It's time to find out what YOU need to be ready and respond in a disaster situation.

PEP is designed for individuals and families (ages 10–110) to learn the importance of personal and home disaster preparedness, and how to survive after a major emergency. This class will prepare the individual, their home and their family with the information, supplies and skills needed to be self-sufficient for 7+ days in a disaster. 

During this FREE PEP Class, participants will learn:

  • What to do before, during and after a major emergency
  • Hazard Mitigation and Utility Control
  • Personal and Family Emergency Supplies
  • Staying Calm Amid Chaos

Upon completion of the program, participants will have the knowledge and resources to create a home emergency plan, build an emergency kit with supplies, and complete basic emergency response tasks in and around their home.
