Robert Jweinat was elected to the San Ramon City Council in November 2024 and proudly took the oath of office on December 10, 2024. Robert served on the Economic Advisory Council and was a graduate of the San Ramon Citizens Police Academy. As a dedicated public servant, Robert brings a unique blend of legal expertise, business strategy, and entrepreneurial insight to local government. His focus is on shaping the future of San Ramon through thoughtful policy, innovation, and inclusive civic leadership.

Professionally, Robert is an accomplished attorney specializing in corporate formation and governance, immigration, and estate planning. Known as a trusted advisor and strategic thinker, he helps clients navigate complex legal and business challenges with clarity and vision.

Robert began his legal career in the public sector, clerking in the Fraud and Corruption Division of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where he investigated cyber and white-collar crimes. He later returned to his hometown of San Francisco to clerk with the Public Defender’s Office, supporting defense efforts in complex felony and misdemeanor cases.

With the rise of Silicon Valley’s tech resurgence, Robert transitioned into the private sector, focusing on corporate formation and investment strategy for early-stage startups. This experience sparked his passion for innovation and supporting emerging entrepreneurs.

Robert has since held strategic leadership roles in revenue development and client engagement, working alongside some of the most dynamic companies in the tech industry. He continues to advise high-growth startups, founders, and investors, offering legal and strategic counsel from formation through scale. His expertise includes corporate governance, debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and key business transactions.

Robert is licensed to practice law in California and is admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
