OPEN SPACE PARTNERS 

The City of San Ramon partners with several different groups to protect, promote and enhance Open Space in the San Ramon Valley.  Our Partners include:

East Bay Regional Park District:  The East Bay Regional Park District is a system of beautiful parklands and trails in Alameda and Contra Costa counties to the east of San Francisco. The system comprises 121,397 acres in 73 parks, including over 1,250 miles of trails. We acquire, manage, and preserve natural and cultural resources for all to enjoy now and into the future. Our parks are ideal for healthful recreation and environmental education. We invite you to enjoy hiking, biking, picnicking, horseback riding, camping, fishing, boating, golfing, and nature study in our parks.

Save Mount Diablo:   Save Mount Diablo (SMD) is a nationally accredited land trust and conservation organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area.Save Mount Diablo has been preserving lands on and around Mount Diablo and educating the public to the mountain’s natural values since 1971. We are biologists, conservationists, hikers, bikers, equestrians, bird watchers, and people who just love to look at the mountain.

Bay Area Open Space Council:  The Bay Area Open Space Council is a network of 75 nonprofits, public agencies, businesses, and individuals that serve tens of millions of people each year; maintain thousands of miles of trails; produce delicious food; and steward over 1 million acres of publicly accessible parks.
