CityWalk Master Plan Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR)

The City of San Ramon (Lead Agency) has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) for the proposed CityWalk Master Plan, and is now available for public review.

Draft EIR Public Review and Comment Period

The City of San Ramon is soliciting comments from public agencies, organizations, and members of the public regarding the Draft EIR. In accordance with the time limits established by CEQA, the Draft EIR public review period will begin on May 19, 2020 and end on July 2, 2020 at 5 p.m.

Please provide your written/typed comments on the adequacy of the Draft EIR (including name, affiliation, telephone number, and contact information) to the address shown below by 5 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2020:

Document Availability

Currently, all City facilities are closed to the public due to Contra Costa County's COVID-19 Public Health Order. In addition to the digital access to the Draft EIR provided above, a hard copy of the Draft EIR (with the Appendices on CD) is available for purchase at the cost of $65.00; the entire document on CD can be purchased for $15.00.

In addition, residents can request an individual appointment to review the Draft EIR document in person at the San Ramon Permit Center (2401 Crow Canyon Road). Those wishing to review the document in person will be required to wear a face covering, gloves and practice social distancing protocols. The documents will be sanitized between viewings to minimize public risk associated with COVID-19.

Once Contra Costa County's COVID-19 Public Health Order the order is lifted or modified to allow public access to City facilities, hard copies of the Draft EIR will be available for public review at the following locations:

Public Hearing

During the 45-day review period, the City of San Ramon will hold a public hearing to provide additional opportunity for public comment on the Draft EIR. The hearing will be held by the Planning Commission on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 7 p.m. as a Teleconference Meeting.

Teleconference Meetings

In response to the COVID-19 crisis and Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, this meeting will be conducted utilizing teleconferencing technology. Specific instruction on how join the meeting and provide public comment will be outlined as part of the Planning Commission agenda available prior to the meeting on the City’s Official Meetings and Notices page.
