San Ramon Symphonic Band Concert: Evening at the Pops

Evening at the Pops

Join the San Ramon Symphonic Band for their last concert before the summer months arrive, featuring a selection of “pop” songs for your listening pleasure on Friday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center (10550 Albion Road). Tickets are $9 for adults and FREE for children 12 and under, and can be purchased/reserved at the link below.

The San Ramon Symphonic Band has been around for more than 30 years, and its 60 musicians come from all walks of life, several communities in Contra Costa, Alameda, and San Joaquin counties, and range from Jr. High school students to retirees.

Art & Wind Festival Returns May 29 & 30

Art and Wind Festival 2022

The Art & Wind Festival is back in 2022! The Art & Wind Festival is scheduled for Sunday, May 29 and Monday, May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day Weekend) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in San Ramon’s Central Park (12501 Alcosta Blvd).

The Art and Wind Festival is a pet-friendly, bike-friendly, and family-friendly event!

The event features fine arts and crafts, specialty food vendors, three entertainment stages headlining international music, party bands and variety entertainers, children’s shows, gourmet food courts, family amusement zones, professional choreographed kite flying demonstrations, and a free kite-making workshop.

Recreation Swim is Back at the San Ramon Olympic Pool!
Saturdays, 1–4 p.m.

Recreation Swim is back at the San Ramon Olympic Pool and Aquatic Park (9900 Broadmoor Drive) on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m.!

Drop-in participants pay at the front desk by swim pass, credit card, or cash. Swim passes are available at sanramonrecguide.com


San Ramon Now Has Two Farmers' Markets!
Saturdays, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at City Center Bishop Ranch
Sundays, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at Dougherty Station Community Center

Dougherty Station Farmers Market

The City of San Ramon is very fortunate to now have two incredible Farmers' Markets to meet the needs of our community. Each market is independently operated with their own unique offerings for the community to enjoy.   

Our newest Farmers' Market is located in front of the Dougherty Station Community Center (17011 Bollinger Canyon Road) and operates Sunday mornings from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. This market kicked off on May 1 and is in full swing.

The Dougherty Station market offers everything you need from local family farms and producers. Organic vegetables, strawberries and other fruit, farm fresh eggs, gourmet mushrooms, local honey, fresh baked bread, hummus, fresh caught fish, hot food, and much more is available weekly. San Ramon Farmers' Market at City Center

The City Center Bishop Ranch Market is held every Saturday from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. and features more than 60 local vendors including growers, bakeries, fresh-cut flowers, pasture raised meats, eggs, dairy, artisan charcuterie and cheese, fresh seafood and oysters, gourmet mushrooms and microgreens, food trucks, gourmet street foods and live music! Summer Registration Now Open

Registration for summer camps, classes, and programs is open to all. There are new and exciting camps along with your favorites, such as Adventure Club, Crazy 4 Sports, or Star Guards. A variety of camps are available for preschool through high school-age youth.

We are also excited about our Learn to Swim program offered by ElitSwim and the return of Camp Central. Don't miss out on these great opportunities to engage your child in something new, or re-ignite their passion for sports, arts, science, aquatics, nature, and more.

Bike to Work Day Is Next Week (Friday, May 20)!

Bike to Work Day 2022

Bike to Work Day is back! On Friday, May 20, more than 35 Energizer Stations across Contra Costa County will welcome riders as they bike to work or just enjoy a ride in honor of Bike Month. Visit an Energizer Station to pick up a free canvas tote, fuel up on goodies, and celebrate with fellow cyclists.

Get tips for preparing for Bike to Work Day and guidance on how to check your bike to make sure it's ready to ride. Need assistance planning your route?
