E-Bike Rebates

Over the past 12 months, 511 Contra Costa has issued close to 500 e-bike rebates. They followed up with the new e-bike owners to hear how it has changed the way they travel.

Most say they use their e-bikes for recreation and shopping, but many also e-bike to work and school. These new e-bike owners ride an average of two to four times a week, much more often than they did on their traditional bikes.

The owners 511 Contra Costa staff spoke with said that e-biking makes them feel happy, energized, and empowered. The biggest benefits of having an e-bike were exercise and recreation, the ability to go longer distances, and riding with less effort – a perfect combination for replacing car trips with e-bike rides.

Eligible renters who are at risk of eviction are urged to apply, even if their landlord has not applied.

Interested landlords and renters can check eligibility and apply at HousingIsKey.com or by calling 833-430-2122For assistance in another language, or to verify eligibility, get help with an application or upload paperwork, applicants are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a local organization by calling 833-687-0967.
