4/19 Update:

Two drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held in San Ramon this Thursday, April 22 and Friday, April 23 from 9 a.m.5 p.m. at 2641 Camino Ramon.

Appointments are required, and hundreds of spots are currently available for anyone 18+ who lives or works in Contra Costa County.

These clinics are in partnership with Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) and a coalition of public safety agencies. Staff from San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District will be performing the vaccinations.

These clinics are for patients receiving the first dose of a two-dose course of vaccinations. Patients will receive follow-up appointments for May 26 or 27 clinics at the same location.

4/15 Update:

Every Californian 16 and up is now eligible for vaccination. Check myturn.ca.gov or call (833) 422-4255 to get a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. If appointments are not available, you can sign up to be notified when they are.

For residents who schedule appointments through MyTurn at the Oakland Coliseum site,  AC Transit and BART are both offering transportation assistance to and from the Coliseum. You will need to provide proof of your appointment in order to use the free vaccine shuttles. Visit AC Transit’s website and BART’s website for more information.

Vaccine appointments for those 16 and up who live, work, or go to school in Contra Costa County can also be made through Contra Costa Health Services. Residents can register for an appointment online at cchealth.org/coronavirus or by calling 1-833-829-2626*

*Callers to the CCHS COVID-19 vaccine appointment line may experience long waits due to high demand. Anyone seeking a vaccine appointment from CCHS is encouraged to schedule online instead of waiting on hold if they can. People under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to their vaccine appointment, or have a parent/guardian who can be contacted by phone during the appointment.

Healthcare systems, pharmacies and other providers have different eligibility requirements for COVID-19 vaccinations. Visit the CCHS Get Vaccinated page for information about eligibility and how to schedule an appointment with partner providers.

Residents can also use the CDC’s VaccineFinder tool to find vaccination locations near you.

If you know someone who may need a little help making a vaccine appointment, please make that offer. Check out the CCHS Vaccine Appointment Guide for step-by-step information.

Vaccine Distribution

Healthcare systems, pharmacies and other providers have different eligibility requirements for COVID-19 vaccinations.

There are several ways to find a vaccine appointment, and at this point in time, the County recommends signing up everywhere you can, and after scheduling an appointment, canceling your requests elsewhere.

1. MyTurn

Every Californian 16 and up is now eligible for vaccination. Register with the State of California at myturn.ca.gov or call 1-833-422-4255 to schedule an appointment or be notified when one they are available.

2. Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS)

CCHS will immunize all eligible residents whether they have insurance or not. People who live, work, or attend school in Contra Costa County and are 16 years or older are currently eligible to schedule an appointment through CCHS.

Schedule an Appointment

Eligible residents who have difficulty using the form or have no internet access can request an appointment by calling 1-833-829-2626.

People who need to cancel an existing appointment or who received a first dose of vaccine through CCHS and need to make a second-dose appointment should call 1-833-829-2626.

3. Your Healthcare Provider

Healthcare systems have different eligibility requirements for COVID-19 vaccinations, and many healthcare providers are directly contacting eligible patients to schedule vaccine appointments.

Information about local providers—including Contra Costa Regional Medical Center & Health Centers, John Muir Health, Kaiser Permanente, La Clinica, Lifelong Medical, and Sutter Health—can be found by visiting the CCHS Vaccine page and scrolling down.

4. Partner Sites

Pharmacies and other providers have different eligibility requirements for COVID-19 vaccinations. Information about each of these providers can be found by visiting the CCHS Vaccine page and scrolling down. To request an appointment, visit the links below.
