Tinikling

Team Fil-Am performs Tinikling! Tinikling is a traditional Filipino folk dance where pairs of dancers switch between clapping bamboo sticks together and dancing on over them. The motion of hopping over sticks is meant to mimic birds found in the Philippines called Tiklings.

 

Bulaklakan Dance

Adobo Feed Dance Group performs,  Bulaklakan Dance, a dance of Floral Garlands, a Philippine Cultural folk dance, traditionally performed during the celebrations of Santa Cruz de Mayo, a Catholic event honoring the Virgin Mary. But nowadays, it is performed at any festive occasion.
