Local Curfews Now Rescinded

UPDATE: As of Thursday, June 4, curfews have now been rescinded in both Contra Costa County and the City of San Ramon.

PREVIOUS:

On Tuesday, June 2, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors passed a proclamation of local emergency and a curfew in Contra Costa County from 8 p.m.–5 a.m., effective immediately until further notice.

Exemptions include individuals traveling to and from work, authorized representatives of any news service, peace officers, firefighters, people experiencing homelessness, and individuals seeking medical treatment.

In addition, on June 2, 2020, the San Ramon City Manager, acting in his capacity as Emergency Services Director, issued a proclamation of emergency and a curfew for the City of San Ramon from 8 p.m.–5 a.m. daily, effective beginning June 3 until further notice.

Exemptions include individuals traveling to and from work, authorized representatives of any news service, peace officers, firefighters, individuals seeking or providing medical care or care for family members or others, and persons experiencing homelessness.

This proclamation was to be ratified by the City Council in the coming week.
