"Pay" means that the recycling center pays customers for cans and bottles "Charge" means that the recycling center charges customers to drop off wood and green waste. If a space is left blank, it means that the recycling center does not accept that material.

At Recycling Center Events. The City will be conducting periodic collection events for recyclables and electronic scrap. The first will be held October 4th and 5th, 2008 at the Dougherty Station Community Center. See this link for more details: October 4-5 Recycling Event

Recyclers. There are several private companies
that offer recyclables collection services to San Ramon businesses:

Is San Ramon Proposing any New Alternatives? The City is constantly
seeking to expand its recycling programs. New programs currently being
developed include food scrap recycling for homes and businesses and
on-call curbside collection of extra recyclables and green waste.
Where Can I Get Free Compost?
Compost will be made available to San Ramon residents at the San Ramon
Farmers Market, held at Forest Home Farms, 19953 San Ramon Valley Blvd.,
every Saturday from May to November from 9am to 1pm. Compost will also be
distributed at Recycling Center Events. Limit one 20 lb (2 cubic foot) bag
per customer.
