San Ramon Businesses Certified By The Bay Area Green Business Program

The San Ramon businesses listed below have been recognized by the county's Bay Area Green Business Program! Please join us in extending congratulations and support for their achievement.

The Green Business Program is designed to provide public recognition to businesses which maintain compliance with all environmental regulations and demonstrate a commitment to conserving resources and preventing pollution.

"Sometimes it's all a business can do to keep up with complex and ever-increasing environmental laws," said April Gray, the City's former Economic Development Director, "When a business maintains compliance with every regulation and then goes a step further and starts recycling, using less energy and taking other measures to reduce pollution, well, that business needs to be recognized." Be sure to ask your mechanic, or other local business owner  when they plan to become a Green Business.
