2008 Garbage Rates

Four (4) sizes of residential garbage containers are available from Valley Waste Management:

2008 Garbage Rates
Current Rate/Month:

20-gallon  $ 17.57
35-gallon  $ 21.58
64-gallon  $ 37.67
96-gallon  $ 60.57

If you can recycle more (see below) and "trash" less, you can save money by getting a smaller trash container.  Call Valley Waste Management (837-3356) if you want a different container or for other services.

Recycling Upgrade
If you regularly overfill your 64-gallon recycling cart, you may trade it in for a 96-gallon cart at no extra charge.

Additional Green Waste Cart
An additional 64-gallon Green waste cart service is available at no extra charge.

Note: Garbage rates for commercial businesses, multi-family dwellings (e.g. apartments and condos with shared service) and roll-off boxes will increase approximately 3% on January 1, 2008. More details coming soon.
