Current Construction Projects 
Athan Downs Playground Renovation Project
The City of San Ramon is in the process of designing a new playground to replace the existing playground at Athan Downs. The new playground design will be a universally accessible concept that offers full access to each piece of playground equipment to persons with disabilities.
The City is interested in soliciting input from the community regarding design elements and accessible playground components that might be included in the playground. We are encouraging parents of children with disabilities and others who might be interested in the Athan Downs Playground to participate in design review meetings.
A public meeting to present and discuss preliminary design elements was held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. A second meeting to review design options for developing final plans is scheduled for January 18, 2012 at the Terrace Room, San Ramon Community Center at 12501 Alcosta Blvd at 5:30 PM.
