County Connection Service Restructure and Fare Modification
Posted on 02/01/2019

County Connection has completed a comprehensive evaluation of existing transit services and has approved a system-wide service restructure and fare modification plan, effective March 10, 2019.

County Connection embarked on the process to restructure service throughout  its service district in an effort to increase productivity. As public transit continues to be redefined, with various new mobility options, County Connection strives to align efficient service with demand.

Changes specific to San Ramon include the elimination of Route 36 due to low ridership and frequent service for Route 35. County Connection will also discontinue the sale of paper passes effective March 10, 2019. The last day to purchase a transit pass at city facilities such as the Permit Center, City Hall, Community Center and the Senior Center is March 8, 2019.
