Signs

requirements prior to beginning your project!
REQUIRED DOCUMENT SUBMITTAL
(Please provide three (3) complete sets)
job site address (include suite when appropriate); business name; name,
address & phone number of owner; name, address, phone number &
stamp/signature of project designer/architect; basic description of
project.
Plot
Plan:
(indicate scale); lot dimensions and/or building wall frontage length;
planview of building area; location of all proposed and existing
wall-mounted and monument signs as required; north arrow. Where monument
signs are proposed, please provide location of easements and visible
utilities on site; dimension distance to all adjoining property lines; all
streets and right-of-ways adjacent to the sign, including all driveways
and site entrances.
Architectural
Plans:
(indicate scale); exterior building elevations; elevation views of all
proposed signs on the site; existing signs within immediate vicinity of
the proposed sign as required; detailing drawings (or replications) of all
signs which identify height, depth, width, design, colors and construction
materials, etc.
Structural
Plans:
(indicate scale); footing/foundation plans for monument signs; structural
frame details; attachment details for all sign and frame elements;
structural material specifications, etc.
Electrical
Plans:
(indicate scale); complete electrical plans which identify the source of
electrical power for the sign; identify all new and/or altered
wiring; method of illumination and illumination levels; location of
transformers and disconnects; provide listing information as appropriate.
CALCULATIONS - 2 SETS
Structural calculations (as required) - with wet signature and stamp on each sheet. Wind load design factor is
70 M.P.H. - exposure "C"; seismic zone 4.
