Q. Where do I go about a lost child?
A. Inside the lobby of the Community Center at the front desk.
Q. Where is first aid?
A. First aid kits with Band-Aids are located inside the Community Center at the front desk and at the City Booth. Major first aid is provided by the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District located by the big fire engine in the back parking lot off Bollinger Canyon Road next to the basketball courts. In a major emergency, call 911 and contact a staff person so they can call the fire district.
Q. Where is the closest ATM machine?
A. ATMs are located in the lobby of the Community Center and one located in the Bollinger parking lot close to the Chevron stage.
Q. Where are the restrooms?
A. Restrooms are located in the park by the skate park and next to the playground. Porta-potties are located in the front parking lot next to the tennis courts, at the south end of the Alcosta lot and around the restrooms by the skate park. (Refer to map)
Q. When & where is the Hot Air Balloon Launch?
A. The Hot Air Balloon Launch will take place Monday morning at dawn approx.6:00 a.m. on the soccer field by the tennis courts. There will be 6 balloons taking off (dependent on weather). Best place to park is at Iron Horse Middle School.
Q. Where are the children’s activities?
A. Children’s crafts and kids’ attractions are located in front of the Community Center. Interactive games are in the Tennis Courts. Children’s attractions are also located in the back Bollinger parking lot. The kite making workshop is inside the Community Center Fountain Room. The Puppet Show stage is located behind the Children’s Playground at the end of the promenade next to the Tennis Courts.
Q. Where are the stages?
A. The Chevron Stage is located in the parking lot adjacent to Bollinger Canyon Road. The Comcast Stage is located in front of the Community Center adjacent to Alcosta Boulevard. The San Ramon Marriott Amphitheater Stage is located behind the community center in the amphitheater, a grassy bowl shaped area. Look for the brightly colored flags. The Puppet Show stage is located behind the Children’s Playground at the end of the promenade next to the Tennis Courts.
Q. What times are the kite making workshops?
A. The kite making workshops take place in the Terrace Room off the back terrace of the Community Center on Sunday and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Q. Where are the food booths?
A. Food booths are located in three locations: the meadow (Meadow Food Court), the back parking lot (Chevron Food Court) and the front parking lot (Alcosta Food Court). Refer to map for exact locations. Click here for a list of food offerings
Q. What are the festival hours and where can I park?
A. 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. each day. You can pay $5 and park in the dirt lot adjacent to the park. Proceeds benefit Cal High Grad Night. Parking is also available in the Iron Horse School Parking Lot for $5. Parking for persons with disabilities is in a portion of the Iron Horse School Parking Lot.
