Thank You San Ramon!

The City of San Ramon is inviting residents to attend a series of free events in 2011-2012 to say “Thank You!” to each and every one of you for making San Ramon a wonderful place to live, work and play.

2011

July 10, 17, 24, 31- Summer Concert Series
San Ramon Central Park- 12501 Alcosta Blvd
Bring the family for a perfect summer evening in Central Park. Starting at 5:30pm, enjoy great music, talk with friends and neighbors, bring a picnic and let the kids enjoy dancing in the grass.

 

July 15- Movie on the Lawn: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Dougherty Station Lawn- 17011 Bollinger Canyon Rd
Hang out on the lawn at Dougherty Station at 8:30pm and watch a film classic with your friends.

August 8- Public Service Center Tour
San Ramon Service Center- 5000 Crow Canyon Rd
4-5pm
Calling all tractor, street sweeper, and park enthusiasts! Residents will be able to discover all of the large equipment used to keep our city maintained!

August 19- Movie on the Lawn: Toy Story 3
Dougherty Station Lawn- 17011 Bollinger Canyon Rd
Bring the family to Dougherty Station at 8:00pm for an outdoor showing of 2011’s Oscar Winner for best animated movie.

September 12- Open Gym Basketball (18+)
Iron Horse Gym- 12601 Alcosta Blvd
Play a night of hoops from 7-10pm at this very popular Open Gym event.

 

 

September 15- Open Gym Volleyball (18+)
Iron Horse Gym- 12601 Alcosta Blvd
Bring your friends from 7-10pm to have a blast playing indoor volleyball!

September 18- Open Gym Badminton (6+ with adult)
Gale Ranch Gym- 6400 Main Branch Rd
Come to Gale Ranch Middle School from 9am-12pm for lots of badminton fun, no matter your skill level.

October 8- Customer Appreciation Day - Forest Home Farms
Forest Home Farms Historical Park- 19953 San Ramon Valley Blvd
From 10am- 3pm, njoy tours of the Glass House Museum and the farm, and experiencing many interactive exhibits, including the tractor museum, the beautiful grounds and lots of activities.

November 7- Public Service Center Tour

February 15- Free Senior Drop-in Day (55+)
San Ramon Senior Center- 9300 Alcosta Blvd
Stop by the Senior Center located off Alcosta Blvd. to check out the many wonderful services and activities that are offered.

 

 

These Thank You San Ramon! events will provide residents with a great opportunity to become familiar with City amenities, programs and staff. With so many City programs offered, this is a great way to get started finding out what programs are your favorite!
